Alhamdulillah — we've been able to take a group of students for Umrah. The trip covered Makkah and Madinah, and the students visited:
For most of the group, it was their first time. They came back tired, sunburnt, and quieter than they left.
Reading about Makkah and Madinah in class is one thing. Standing in front of the Kaaba is another. The trip is logistically heavy, but worth every bit of the work.
